Today’s Video: The Sexiness of Bookish People

It’s been a while since the last Booktube Bites! Now that the holidays are over, this segment is back on its weekly schedule. This week’s video is a witty video about the allure and charm of bookish people. The video states shows what seems to be two avid readers as they state facts like, “bookish people are on their phones less” and “they’re quiet to have around the house”.

I thought this was a nice and funny video about bookish people in general. I agreed with a lot of the things the video stated and I also agree that we (readers) have a certain charm about us, yet we’re often a bit misunderstood.

Question of the Week: What you think is alluring or sexy about bookish people? Comment with your thoughts below.

Have a great weekend! 🙂

  1. I have to admit to laughing at parts of this video. Bookish people are sexy if you get beautiful actors to play them as this video demonstrates 😉 If only they’d take off their glasses, then maybe the whole world would see how beautiful they are, as the Hollywood cliche goes.

As a film blogger, I have to say that film buffs are also sexy 😉

    1. I was laughing too! I think bookish people (and film buffs) are sexy for their minds (despite the beautiful people shown in the video). Nothing is better than sitting down with someone than connecting with about art, books, music, films. 🙂

      1. My thoughts exactly. I love great conversation.

I didn’t know my glasses make me look “bewitchingly distant and serious.” I must have intimidated people. Lol!
