Booktube Bites is a weekly segment in which I spotlight cool bookish videos on the internet. I will discuss some entertaining videos and Booktubers which you can check out. Feel free to participate as well, and send in your own recommendations of videos you would like spotlighted.

Today’s Booktube Bite: Bookish Friendship Dealbreakers

Found on: thebookbasement

This week’s edition feaures a video from one of my favorite Booktubers, Sophia, from The Book Basement. She has really interesting vlogs and fun book reviews, so make sure to check out her other videos on her channel as well!

In this video, Sophia, has interviews with people that respond to an ad for a “bookish friendship”.  Things don’t go as smoothly as planned and some of the interviewees don’t rise up to the challenge. Will she find a new bookish friend to hang out with?

What are your own bookish friendship deal breakers? For me, would have to say someone who trashes my favorite series/novel. I don’t mind that you don’t like the book/s, but don’t throw it in my face. Comment below with your own answers too!

Have a great weekend! 🙂

  1. Hey, love your videos! I have a book blog and BookTube channel too. I never lend out books. Never. Well, maybe to my brother, but even then I won’t lend my faves or the pretty editions.

    1. Thank you! Haha, I’m very picky with lending out my books too, I really only let my closest friends borrow my books, because I know they’ll treat my book right. But I’ve had some bad experiences in the past.
