Vanilla Caramel Fudge: Pick a light, fluffy contemporary.

to all the boys I've ever loved
P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han

This was such a light and fun sequel To All The Boys I’ve Ever Loved! The characters and story are relatable to the coming-of-age theme it discusses. If you like contemporary novels, I’d add this duology to your list.

mint-chocolate-cookie-detail

Mint Chocolate Cookie: A new release that you wish everybody would read.

Anna and the Swallow Man
Anna and The Swallow Man by Gavriel Savrit

Since I’ve been catching up on my TBR pile recently, I haven’t really been reading a ton of new books. The book I would say impressed me the most out the new books/arcs I have read was Anna and The Swallow Man. It’s a very short novel, but it captures the many of emotions of that era and I liked how the plot is intertwined with magical realism.

cherry-garcia-detail

Cherry Garcia: An ending that was bittersweet.

the good goodbye
The Good Goodbye by Carla Buckley

Well I can’t say too much about this book because I don’t want to give any spoilers away. With all of the things the characters endure throughout the story and how the mystery is solved, the novel leaves the readers with a slightly bittersweet ending.

strawberry-cheesecake-detail

Strawberry Shortcake: A book containing your OTP of OTPs.

morganville-vampires
Morganville Vampire Series by Rachel Caine

Haha! This is hard one since I read so many books and have quite a few OTPs. I would have to go with the pairings/couples in the Morganville Vampire series. I like the way the Claire and Shane’s romantic relationship develop over the course of the plot despite all the obstacles that are thrown at them. The two truly belong together.

milk-and-cookies-detail

Milk & Cookies: Two authors who, if they collaborated, would go perfectly together.

Both of these paranormal series are full of humor, romance, drama, and a little bit of mystery. I think if Betsy from the Undead and Unwed series could get together with Glory St.Clair from the Real Vampires series they would be such a fun duo and all kinds of crazy stuff would happen if their worlds collided.

boston-cream-pie-detail

Boston Cream Pie: A book that had you turning your pages late into the night.

the scout
The Scot by Lyn Stone

This was such a delightful historical Highland romance read! The witty banter and antics between the two lead characters kept me laughing throughout the entire book. Though the two chracters are thrown into marriage because of hasty circumstances, I appreciated that the writer let their relationship develop over the course of the book rather than being another dreaded case of insta love.

chocolate-therapy-detail

Chocolate Therapy: A book that makes you feel better after a long day of life.

instant happy journal
Instant Happy Journal by Karen Salmansohm

This journal has been a great experience for me! I love to jot different things down at the end of everyday and it helps me wind-down before I go to bed at night. Another plus is that it makes me think about and appreciate all of the big and small happy moments in my life!

coffee-coffee-buzz-detail

Coffee, Coffee, Buzzbuzzbuzz!: A book not yet released that you can’t wait to get your hands on.

a thousand nights
A Thousand Nights by E.K Johnston

The story sounds intriguing and the cover art is absolutely gorgeous!!!

  1. I completely agree that Gerry Bartlett and Mary Janice Davidson should do a collab! I’d completely love to see a conversation between Glory and Betsy, especially about their perspective men. This MUST HAPPEN!

  2. I like that Instant Happy Journal. I always consider getting something similar and then talk myself out of it.
Lol, I guess Mary Janice Davidson and Gerry Bartlett would really go well together because even the covers match.
