April Book Haul!

SUCCESS! My willpower is working! I only bought nine books this month!

I’m so proud of myself! In anticipation of RT Booklovers Covention 2015 next month, I’ve put a big halt on my book buying. I’ve cleaned/tidied up my bookshelves in anticipation of bringing lots of swag home. If you don’t already know, Free Comic Book Day is May 2nd! So I will try to retrain myself from buying a lot of graphic novels, but I also want to support my local comic book shops. Look forward to a haul from this event next week!

Let’s get started!

This has been on my TBR list for a while! I was really excited to get this for such a good price!

“The 13th Disciple” -Deepak Chopra

I actually received this as part of the Deepak Chopra’s book tour to promote this novel. It was included in the ticket price, plus I got the book autographed by him.

  1. Yay you went down the self-hosted route too!! Also love the Tote Bag!! I own two tote bags I got from Society6 but not a bookish one. I do have one I received from Penguin Publishing at a bookfair though! I’m really curious about Akata Witch and The Thing Around Your Neck :). The covers are gorgeous!! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on that one!! Great Haul Rachel and enjoy your books!!

    1. Thanks! Yeah I decided to switch over to self-hosting a while ago, but I finally changed it, lol. Akata Witch is supposed to be like Harry Potter and since the main character has magical powers. The other book by Adichie is a short story collection. I absolutely love her writing! But I’m equally excited to read both.
