About: Madeleine Sophie Wickham is an English author of chick lit best known for her work under the pen name” Sophie Kinsella”. While working as a financial journalist, at the age of 24, Wickham wrote her first novel, The Tennis Party, which became became a top ten bestseller. She revealed her real identity for the first time when Can You Keep a Secret? was published in December 2005. She is best known for the Shopaholic series!

What I’ve Read (So Far):

Why She’s a Wonderful Writer: I think the main reason I enjoy Kinsella’s writing and stories so much is that they are so entertaining! Her characters are so much fun and relatable in many ways. Sure some of their situations maybe blown out of proportion, but that what makes the plot so enticing to her readers. Kinsella’s books are nice, light reads, and they always are sure to make me laugh and cheer me up when I’m having a bad day. I enjoy the Shopaholic series most of all since I love reading about Becky Bloomwood’s crazy shopping escapades.

Do you read Kinsella’s novels? If so what’s your favorite book by her? Leave it in the comments.
