Favorite book to movie adaptations

Well you can see my top 10 book movie adaptions in a previous post here.
Worst book to movie adaptations

Hmm… there a lot of bad ones out there. To name a few: “One For the Money” (Janet Evanovich), “Ella Enchanted” (Gail Carson Levine), and “A Series of Unfortunate Events” (Lemony Snicket). The only reason “A Series of Unfortunate Events” seemed so bad to me was the fact that they tried to cram three books into one movie.
Favorite and/or worst book to TV show adaptations

“The Vampire Diaries” is a pretty good TV show, I like that it’s actually different from the original books. “Gossip Girl” wasn’t too shabby either, but I actually preferred the books over the TV show (it had way too many seasons for me).

I also enjoy “The Walking Dead” (haven’t read many volumes of the graphic novel yet). As for True Blood and Game of Thrones (haven’t read the books for either, but plan to do so soon (Plus I am so many seasons behind its ridiculous).
Most accurate cast (either one character, multiple characters, or a whole cast for film/TV)

Hmm… Hunger Games, Vampire Academy, Vampire Diaries, Game of Thrones.
Worst cast (least accurate)

I can’t really think of one, off the top of my head.
Best effects in a video adaptation

Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter. Pretty much any fantasy-sci-fi themed adaptation seems to have way better CGI and cool video techniques.

Books that should be adapted for big/small screen

The Morganville Vampires series, Chicagoville Vampires, Holly Black’s Dark fey series…..
If you could have one movie/movie series remade to match the quality/accuracy of Catching Fire, which would it be and why?

Omg Twilight! That movie was so horrid! The filming was okay, but the acting was so bad in the first film.
Hollywood fancast for one of your favorite series/books that has not been adapted (yet)

It’s too hard to decide!
Best soundtrack and/or score for a book to movie/TV adaptation

Harry Potter, hands down. I could listen to that soundtrack all day! The music is so beautiful!
