wonder ful 2

Hi All! Wonderful Writers is a weekly segment that will come out every Wednesday! Every week I’ll spotlight and discuss one of my favorite authors, books by them, and talk about their writing styles and such. I hope you’ll enjoy. Feel free to participate as well by writing your own post and as always you are welcome to use the meme/pic if you’d like (just remember to credit me).

Various Poems

Why She’s a Wonderful Writer:

I love this woman! I haven’t gotten the chance to read her autobiographies (yet), but I love her poetry. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings is one of my top favorite poems. Maya is not only a wonderful writer, but is such an inspirational woman. She is a respected spokesperson and a very wise lady. Her poems are like lyrical songs, that are not only beautiful on the surface, but are also deep in meaning, carrying important messages to her audiences.

Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.
