Hello readers! Since Christmas is just around the corner you’ve probably already started shopping for gifts for friends and family. Today, I wanted to compile and share a list my top ten picks for fun and unique literary gifts to give to the bibliophile in your life.

Banned book socks run around $10 a pair and come in two different sizes covering a wide range of feet. One sock clearly states the titles and the other socks has them blacked out. These socks are not only great for keeping warm and cozy throughout winter, but is also a good reminder to celebrate the freedom to read.

Looking to pick up a pretty or a re-imagined copy of a timeless classic to give to a friend or treat yourself? They are available in different styles based on novels such as Jane Eyre (pictured), Alice In Wonderland, and so much more. They make a great fashion statement and are a fun conversation starter about reading.

7) Book Box


A book box makes a great gift to decorate any bookshelf, desk, or room. They are also pretty cheap and run from $8 (size pictured) to $15 depending on size. They also make great little treasure/jewelry boxes to keep all of your trinkets together.

8) “Go Away I’m Reading” Book Sign


Primitives by Kathy sells lots of cool box signs to decorate and brighten up any room in your house. This quirky “Go Away I’m Reading” sign is quirky, funny, and calls for that desired “quiet time” when a bibliophile is stuck nose deep in a book. Price is $14.

9) Bookish Mug


Chances are if you love to read, there’s nothing you enjoy better than a nice cup of tea, coffee, or any cozy drink of your liking. This “Happiness is a cup of tea and a really good book” mug, couldn’t have stated it better. It sells for about $20.

10) Literary T-Shirts


What can be a greater gift than a literary shirt like this “Gatsby” one? This tank runs around $27 and is perfect to give to any book lover. Look Human has some great t-shirts, tanks, sweatshirts, and other clothing that have fun bookish sayings. Give it to a friend, family member, and don’t forget to snag one for you too (Treat yo’ self)!
