January & February Book Haul!

Welcome to a new book haul! I’ll call this month’s post the “birthday edition”. Remember at the end of the year, when I talked about my new year’s resolution to go on a book buying ban? Well, this month didn’t go so well…

I received some books for my birthday and I got some gift cards for Amazon and Barnes & Noble as b-day and graduation presents. And then Book Outlet had a President’s day sale! Yikes! And then, I stopped by one of my favorite independent bookstores to “browse”, and buy a couple of books. Keep your eyes peeled for another Independent Indies post about them next month. Needless to say, I didn’t do so hot. But next month is a new month and I can start fresh again.

Another reason I’ve been shopping around is to grab some books to fulfill some of the reading challenges I’m participating in this year! Without further ado, here are my purchases from January & February! The other purchases I made later on this month will be featured in March. 🙂
