Favorite Bath Products: A Collaboration with Life’s a Cup of Tea!

Hello everyone! Stephanie from the blog Life’s a Cup of Tea and I are back with yet another skin care post collaboration. It’s no secret that bubble baths are the best, but now there even more products to choose from. Here are some our favorite bath time products to use during a long soak in a luxurious bath while you listen to music, read a good book, or even for meditation. We hope you enjoy these products and that they help you reach the ultimate relaxation state during bath time!

*Please note that the prices listed are at the time of their posting and most of these products can be found multiple retailers online and in store.

Yumeguri Hot Spring Bath Power

(Amazon/Price: $13.99)

For those that can’t immediately travel to a onsen (like me), this bath powder gives a similar experience to an Japanese hot spring. After you’ve filled the tub, you add the powder in and the water becomes colored (different depending on which packet you use) and a pleasant aroma fills the air. It’s relaxing and comforting. (Rachel)

Me! Bath bombs

(Target/Price: $9.99)

These bath bombs are pretty nice (and the price isn’t so bad either!). For $9.99, you get 6 essential oil bath bombs. Using one works ok, or you can use two if you want more color to the water. They are very moisturizing, and essential oils provide a natural, relaxing aroma, great for the body and to calm down the mind. (Stephanie)

Lush Rainbow Fun Bar

(Lush/Price:$12.95)

This bath bar from Lush is my favorite bath product from the shop. It’s colorful and lots of fun! It’s easy to use, makes for a fun bubble bath, plus it’s long lasting. What I like most is that you don’t have to use a lot at a time in order to see the effects of it. (Rachel)

Dr. Teal’s Lavender Soak & Soothe

(Target/Price: $4.89)

Good for the muscles and skin, this is great for winding down after a long day of work and exercise. I prefer the lavender, but there are some other great fragrances available. I also have tried some of the generic versions and they work pretty well, too. (Stephanie)

Aura Cacia,: Aromatherapy Foam Bath, Relaxing Lavender

(iHerb.com/ Price: $2.95 per pack)

I never get tired of any Lavender scented bath products. This foam bath powder is incredibly relaxing during a bath and it helps me to release tension if I’m stressed out . It’s also good for a bedtime bath! (Rachel)

Dr. Bronners’ Castile Liquid Soap

(Dr.Bronner/Price: $17.99)

I have used multiple scents of the Dr. Bronners Castile soaps, and I love them all. I have diluted them in the bath but usually use them for showering. This soap can really do it all, though — the bottle isn’t exaggerating. It works as laundry detergent, floor cleaner and for many other things. And the big bottle lasts a long time — a little goes a long way. But it’s still really gentle on the skin and the essential oils that give fragrance smells wonderful. Peppermint, lavender and almond are my favorites. (Stephanie)

Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Baby Wash

(Target/Price: $5.99)

Johnson’s baby wash is the classic definition of a bubble bath for me! I’ve been using this since I was a kid. I like that it’s good for sensitive skin and the scent is not overly intense, but calming. If you have allergies to bath products, this is good choice. (Rachel)

Village Naturals Bath Tea

(Walmart/Price: $4.97)

This comes in a few scents, but I love the lavender and chamomile bath tea from Village Naturals. It’s soothing to the skin, plus who doesn’t like taking a bath in an oversized cup of tea! (Stephanie)

Da Bath Bom Fizzers: Cake Bomb

(Target/Price: $4.99)

I think bath bombs with surprises inside are so much fun and they definitely bring out my inner child. This brand is on the cheaper side of these bath bombs since most cost $8. I love that there themed according to name and you don’t know what cute trinket you’ll get. (Rachel)

Fuji Green Tea Bath Tea

(The Body Shop/Price: $?)

This is another bath tea, but it comes in loose leaf form and is made up of salts and leaves. It was the first one I’d ever used and I fell in love with the concept. This one works with a strainer. It has a nice, light tea fragrance to help you relax and wind down after a long day.  (Stephanie)

Treets Traditions Relaxing Chakras Bath Tea

(HSN/Price:$12.00)

If you’re a tea fanatic like I am then give this product a try! They are so calming and it makes the bath water smell so pleasant.  Just drop the bath tea and the water and let the magic happen. You get the most of out of this product with a longer bath. (Rachel)
