Today’s Booktube Bite: Matilda
This week’s video pick comes from one of my top favorite book to film adaptions ever, the movie Matilda! Matilda is a 1996 American fantasy comedy children’s film directed by Danny DeVito who also stars in the movie along side the actress, Mara Wilson (plays the character of Matilda). The screenplay is based on Roald Dahl’s novel of the same name.
The video clip I picked is one of my favorite scenes from the movie. It shows Matilda finally mastering her newfound magical powers as she dances around the room to “Little Bitty Pretty One” by Frankie Lymon.
