Wicked – Favorite fictional friendship

One of my most favorite fictional friendship reads is from the novel Queenie. I loved her friendship with Kyakize. She’s sassy, unapologetic, and proud, but has the kind of realness you need in a good friend. She may seem superficial on the outside, but she tells it like it is and always has Queenie’s back!

Sweeney Todd – Favorite villain

The villain in Kingdom of Souls was so well-written! (I won’t say who as to avoid spoilers. There’s an evil curse, a mystery surrounding missing children, and dark magic. And just when you think the villain was done, there would be another plot twist or event that happened!

Phantom of the Opera – Favorite love triangle

It’s been a while since I’ve read a solid love triangle, but Child of a Hidden Sea has a somewhat of a love triangle in it? Readers know who the clear winner is, but the main character, Sophie, goes through bit of a self-discovery journey to find out who it is.

The Lion King – Favorite sidekick

I loved the aspects of this steampunk adventure tale in Morphic Ice. It’s a story that follows a nomad on a journey to find the secrets of Marr, a prophecy, and his sidekick who a young female mystic training. The two make an unlikely duo, but both learn to work together in order to survive on the journey.

Grease – Least favorite ending

I can’t think of any least favorite endings, but rather a novel that ultimately it fell flat for me though due to its clichés and it’s predictability of the plot. In The Fearless, there is not a lot of guess-work for the reading audience. Another aspect I was dissatisfied with is that while some of the characters were intriguing, others fell flat due to a lack of back story and they also felt one-dimensional.

Matilda: The Musical – Favorite adaptation of a book

It’s probably gonna be Matilda (the movie version). It’s one of my favorite movies to watch and I never get tired of it.

Les Miserables – Favorite death in a book

I honestly can’t think of anything. Not even a epic villain death for this prompt.
