Wonderful Writers: Meg Cabot

wonder ful 2

Hi All! Wonderful Writers is a weekly segment that comes out every Wednesday! Every week I spotlight and discuss one of my favorite authors, books by them, and talk about their writing styles and such. I hope you’ll enjoy. Feel free to participate as well by writing your own post and as always you are welcome to use the meme/pic if you’d like (just remember to credit me).

About: Meg Cabot is an American author of romantic and paranormal fiction for teens and adults. She has written and published over fifty books, and is best known for The Princess Diaries, which was later made into two feature films of the same name. Meg’s books have been the recipients of numerous awards and she has more than 25 million copies of her books in print worldwide.

What  I’ve Read (So Far):

  • The entire Princess Diaries series
  • The entire Mediator series
  • The entire All-American Girl series
  • Avalon High
  • Book one of the Airhead Trilogy
  • Jinx
  • How to Be Popular
  • All of the  book in the “Boys” series
  • The entire Queen of Babble series
  • Four of the Heather Wells mystery series books

Why She’s a Wonderful Writer:

Sooo, if you haven’t already noticed by the amount of books I’ve read by Cabot, I’m a huge fan. Cabot’s books are light reads, and I always find her books enjoyable. They have fun characters, a lot of comedy and some romance thrown in there. She even has based events/characters in her stories from things that happened in her own life, which I love. She writes for children, teens, and adults, and I like that she dabbles in different genres. My favorite books/series by her would have to be the Mediator series, Heather wells series, and I always have a soft spot for the adorkable Mia from the Princess Diaries series (though its been ages since I read the books).
