Hi All! Wonderful Writers is a weekly segment that comes out every Wednesday! Every week I spotlight and discuss one of my favorite authors, books by them, and talk about their writing styles and such. I hope you’ll enjoy. Feel free to participate as well by writing your own post and as always you are welcome to use the meme/pic if you’d like (just remember to credit me).

  • Fudge Series (except for Double Fudge)
  • Blubber
  • Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret?
  • Forever

Why She’s A Wonderful Writer:

Judy Blume is just fantastic. I feel that every young teenage girl should read her novels because they are so much more than just books. Her novels tackled a lot of subjects growing up that I wasn’t used to, and they were eye-opening in a good way. Her books made you ask questions and take a minute to sit down and think about life. Her writing is lyrical and she always knows what to say and how to deliver┬áit. And her children’s books are so much fun as well. Super Fudge was one of my favorite books as a kid.

Did you ever read a Judy Blume book growing up? What kind of impact did it have on you?
