Wintertime Skincare Favorites!

It’s no secret that in the colder months of Winter that becomes drier, more irritated, and feels quite chapped. Since me and Stephanie, awesome friend and blogger buddy at Life’s a Cup of Tea, love skincare products we’d thought share some of our favorite wintertime products to help your skin feel moisturized and glowing all season long.

*Please note that the prices listed are at the time of their posting and most of these products can be found multiple retailers online and in store.

Moisturizers

CLINIQUE’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (Ulta Beauty, $27) – This is my favorite top product from Clinique and I have been using it for many years. It’s light, but at the same it has a somewhat heavy texture to nicely coat your skin and protect. Since it’s a heavier moisturizer I recommend using during days where it’s very cold or the wind chill is low. (Rachel)

CLINIQUE Moisture Surge 72 Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator (Ulta Beauty, $12) – This is a very light moisturizer with a fluffy-like texture. I usually use this moisturizer indoors. Even though I have a humidifier running this helps my skin get re-energized(Rachel)

Kiss My Face Lotion 2 in 1 Olive & Aloe Deep Moisturizing Lotion (Walgreens, $9.99) — This lotion has a nice light smell to match the lightness it has. While it is a body lotion, using it on my face has kept my skin soft during the winter months. It’s also cruelty-free and vegan, with no parabens or phtalates, which makes me feel good about what I am putting on my face. (Stephanie)

Face Wash

Yes to Carrots Nourishing Daily Cream Facial Cleanser  (Walgreens, $7.99) – This is a great organic face wash! It’s my favorite cleanser from this brand and I like that it never fails to make my skin feel smooth and soft. Plus it smells so nice! (Rachel)

Equate African Black Soap (Walmart, $3.44) — Every night, I wash my face with this pure shea butter soap, and it’s left feeling both cleansed and softened. When I first started using it, I had some acne, and it has helped to clear that up, while also leaving my skin feeling smooth and not dried out. I originally used Shea Moisture’s, and that one had a really nice smell, but when I went to replace it, this one was cheaper and also cruelty-free, but much bigger, so I took a chance and it gives me the same results. (Stephanie)

Alaffia Everyday Coconut Face Wash (Alaffia.com or Amazon, $9.49) — Hands down, this is the best face wash I have ever used. With ethically traded virgin coconut oil, this cleanser smells wonderful and is all natural. It gently cleans my face, removing makeup without drying my skin out at all. My skin is very sensitive, and this wash did not cause any irritation. I wash my face with this every morning and it keeps my skin smooth. (Stephanie)

Face Masks

My Shea Sheet Mask Box – Set of 5 (Tony Moly, $8) – This set is usually sold around the holidays and I love it! Shea butter always makes my skin smoother so these are my go-to face masks in the winter. I love all Tony Moly masks! (Rachel)

SEPHORA Sleeping Mask (Sephora, $4) – Sephora has such a great mask collection and at affordable prices too! I recommend the Lotus sleeping mask meant for Moisturizing & Soothing during the Winter. Just put on a small amount before bedtime and the next day your skin looks very refreshed. (Rachel)
