What I’m Listening To…Cozy Comfort Songs Vol. 2

Hello readers! I love listening to the music of all genres on a daily basis. I can’t go a day without popping on some headphones and listening to some upbeat tunes while I dance around my room or relax from a long day by listening to calming songs. In my segment “What I’m Listening To” I share some of my favorite song picks with you in a mini-playlist consisting of five tracks.

This theme is Cozy Comfort Songs. The Summer season can be full of heatwaves and I’m sharing some songs that feel laidback and chill. This is a playlist full of relaxing songs to enjoy during the Summertime.

Into The Sun by Zilo

Zilo is a London native who combines elements of hip-hop and pop to create music that feels reflective. Into the Sun is a smooth alternative R&B and soul track that feels very chill. It’s a song like to listen to while cruising in the car after a long day of work.

Sunshine Anyway by Jieun Park

This jazzy track is sure to brighten your day with Jieun’s bossa nova sound in Sunshine Anyway. It gives off some elements of Jazz standard songs while adding modern elements. It’s a happy tune that I enjoy.

Whatcha Gonna Do? by Pablo Cruise

This song is a mid tempo pop track that has soulful elements. The guitar solo during the bridge of the song is the best part (in my opinion). I love that it’s a track that you can vibe to and simultaneously feels very groovy (capturing the essence of 70’s pop).

Kiss Me Blue by Pami

Pami is a Thai independent singer and actress. This is sweet summery pop ballad about falling in love. Pami’s soft vocal make this such a soothing listen and puts the listener at ease. I could definitely see this song being on a summer playlist at a coffee shop.

Dance With You by Otis Kane

Los Angeles-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Anthony Vasquez (aka Otis Kane) has music that feels like a return to old-school R&B music. It’s heard through the melody and vocal style on Dance With You which talks about feelings of love. It’s got a funky beat in the background that makes the song danceable yet gives off a comforting vibe.

I hope you enjoyed this playlist! What are some of your favorite comfort/chill summertime songs? Comment below!
