What I’m Listening To…Autumn Leaves Vol.2

Hello readers! I love listening to music of all genres on a daily basis. I can’t go a day without popping on some headphones and listening to some upbeat tunes while I dance around my room or relax from a long day by listening to calming songs. In this blog post series I’ll be sharing some of my favorite song picks with you in a mini-playlist of five songs.

For this month’s edition of “What I’m Listening To” I decided to feature some songs about the Autumn season that’s just around the corner. While these songs might not be about the season itself, it will definitely set the mood. I tried to stick with a calmer mix of music that comes to mind when I think of fall. I hope you enjoy this musical playlist.

Streetcar by Daniel Cesear

This song just has an all encompassing soothing feel to it. The tender piano melody mixed with Daniel’s vocals are beautiful. This is a song for those cool Autumn nights.

Fall by Crush

Whether you’re cruising in your car or taking a stroll among the Autumn leaves this song by Crush is sure to leave an impression on you. The city cinematography is so cool in this MV.

Blueless Bird by Joni

If Indie/Coffee House music is more of your vibe, you are sure to enjoy this track by Joni. It has a sense of longing in the emotion of her singing that makes you reminisce about good memories.

Breezin’ by George Benson

I was raised on this track from always hearing in my own childhood home or at relative’s house. The guitar is funky and it’s the best part of this track. No vocals just some sweet grooves.

Autumn in New York by Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong

Last, but not least is this Jazzy standard with Lady Ella’s crooning vocals. She mentions all of the defining moments of the Autumn’s defining moments and starting a new chapter of the year with a new season.

I hope you enjoyed this mini playlist! What are your favorite songs that remind you of the Autumn season? Comment below with some suggestions.
