What I’m Listening To…Summer Vibes

10Hello readers! I love listening to the music of all genres on a daily basis. I can’t go a day without popping on some headphones and listening to some upbeat tunes while I dance around my room or relax from a long day by listening to calming songs. In this blog post series, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite songs picks with you in a mini-playlist of five songs.

If you haven’t guessed it by now, this month’s mini-playlist is full of summer tracks. From songs whose lyrics talk about the blissfully sunny season to tracks that just remind you of a day on the beach, this playlist is full of melodic songs. Enjoy!

Tu by Maye

This is a song that has soft vocals and a very calming melody. I love the bossa nova sound of this track. It’s a great song for chilling by the poolside or a warm Summer evening!

Movin On’ by India Shawn, Anderson. Paak

I just found out about Anderson. Paak through his most recent collaboration with Bruno Mars and have been going through his discography. I love the summer feel of the song and it feels like it would be good for a BBQ playlist. This is a really good collaborative track.

Alantis by SHINee

What makes me think of summer? The blue waters of the sea or hanging out by the lakeside. This is a solid Summer bop from one of my favorite K-Pop groups. I love the cinematography and how upbeat this song is. It gets me dancing every time.

Groove Me by Guy

This is a nostalgic track because it was played at every family BBQ I went to. It reminds me of hanging out with my cousins at the park, eating good food, and just enjoying the outdoors. It’s a classic track and it will never get old.

Do It by Chloe x Halle

I think this track has been one of my go-to summer songs ever since I first. It gets me dancing and the MV has choreography that gets you to dance along. This is one of my personal Summer car cruisin’ tracks.
