What I’m Listening To…Morning Wake Up Vol.1

Hello readers! I love listening to music of all genres on a daily basis. I can’t go a day without popping on some headphones and listening to some upbeat tunes while I dance around my room or relax from a long day by listening to calming songs. In my segment “What I’m Listening To” I share some of my favorite song picks with you in a mini-playlist consisting of five tracks.

This month’s playlist is full of five morning wake-up songs to get you going through your daily morning routine. From mellow to dance tracks, there’s a wide variety of tunes.Enjoy!

1) You Are The Sun, Hawaii by Loyal Garner

With a funky bass line, a Hawaiian vibe, and Loyal’s soulful vocals this song will get you moving on a groggy morning. Loyal is a fantastic artist with a great voice and I love the lyrics of the song. The song gives off a very beachy vibe.

2) Two Princes by Spin Doctors

A fun song for your morning commute. I love the guitar melody, loud drums, and the catchy lyrics that always have me singing along to the music. This song holds a lot of nostalgia for me since I listened to it a lot when I was a kid.

3) Good As Hell by Lizzo

This song is a definite mood buster, especially on mornings where you need a pick me up. It’s motivational, has positive lyrics that will uplift your spirits. It reminds you to love yourself and that everything will be okay even when times are hard.

4) Fantasy by SuperFruit

Fantasy is such a fun, upbeat song, and its poppy melody alone will put a smile on your face. Cue an impromptu dance session because this track will have will have you groovin’ through your morning routine.

5) Fool to Love by Nao

Last, but not least is Nao will a mellow R&B electronic track. Her unique vocals along with the tempo of the beat will having you boppin’ your head with the music. It’s a more chill morning wake up song, but it does its job.
