Welcome to the Summer edition of literary wish list where I share some of the bookish things I’d like to buy! I’ve been enjoying these warm sunny days by diving into a summer reading binge. So many books, so little time. Here are some summer as well as bookish items you can use to accessorize your wardrobe or enjoy for your own bookish pleasure. 🙂
Summer Reads Candle by Reverie Library
Source: Etsy / Price: $8.00
If I haven’t mentioned it already, I am absolutely obsessed with candles. During the summertime I like burning lighter scents or ones that have summer smells. This Summer Reads candle is a great size at 4oz and it also has a lovely blend of grapefruit, mangosteen, and hint of peach. An added bonus is that it’s a soy candle! They burn really well!
Watermelon Book Sleeve by The Book Cloak
Source: Etsy / Price:$ 18.00
I’ve been looking for a new sleeve for my tablet and I think this watermelon themed one from The Book Cloak would be perfect. The pattern is colorful and fun, all while keeping your book/e-reader safe from harm. The best thing about book sleeves is that if you’re constantly on the go, it keeps your book nicely stashed in your bag/purse.
Cute and simple design perfect for lounging indoors or spending a day outside. You can never have too many bookish t-shirts and the phrase on this shirt accurately describes how I spend my busy-free weekends. Plus it makes a good gift for friends and family members that are readers.
Live In The Sunshine Bookmark by NerdyGrlDesigns
Source: Etsy / Price: $1.85
One of my new favorite Etsy shops that I’ve found is NerdyGrlDesigns. Her bookish items are so great and I’ve ordered from her shop twice in the last month or so. Her prices are reasonable and she has a lot of variety of products. I’ve purchased the bookmark featured above and I love it. Mermaids always remind me of summer.
Summer Reading Art Print by Sophie Beer
Source: Society 6 / Price: $17.00
Last on my list is this summer reading art print. The walls of my room are constantly adorned with various types of artwork and posters, and this is one print I’d definitely like to add to my collection. It’s very bright and colorful and I like the imagery of people enjoying a good book on the beach!
