May Book Haul: The “Retail Therapy” Edition

Welcome to the “retail therapy” edition of May book haul. I was doing really well at not buying books until a recent trip to Chicago to visit a friend this past weekend. Let’s just say I went overboard…

To be honest, it felt really good to do some retail therapy since I’ve been a bit stressed out about some things lately. I was able to blow off some steam and I found a lot of books that I been wanting to buy for a while. The best thing about the books that I bought is that they were all sold at a discounted price. I got to travel to some new stores in the area as well as a couple of my favorites. Without further ado, let’s jump into the piles of books that I bought!

    1. I own another book by her as well, but I have yet to read that one too. I really like Kincaid’s writing style/stories so I hope I enjoy it. I have to crack down on my reading too. I’m behind on my reading challenges/goals and half of the year is practically over. Yikes! 0.0

  1. Definitely been there with book-retail-therapy… Amazing finds! I have been meaning to get to Kincaid for a while – thank you for the motivation. Looking forward to your reviews and recommendations! 🙂
