January – April Book Haul: “Long Overdue” Edition

This haul is extremely  overdue!

To be completely honest, I haven’t been buying books as much which is a good thing! I’ve been working hard on reading what I own and tackling my TBR pile. Which is great for my wallet!  I collected so few books every month that it wasn’t enough to make a haul post. So here is a (quite long) haul post which I have titled “Long Overdue” Edition. Let’s do this!

Bought

The Ship Beyond Time by Heidi Heilig – This sequel got pushed on the back burner of my TBR. Now that I own it, I can read it at my leisure.

Death Note:The Black Edition Vol. 3 & 4 by Tsugumi Ohba – These editions of the manga are so pretty!

Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin #1) by Robin LaFevers – Collecting these for a re-read.

Wayfarer by Alexandra Bracken – I own the first book (which I still have not read), so I decided to buy it.

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi – So unbelievably hyped for this. And the cover art is gorgeous!

The Fate of the Tearling (Queen of the Tearling #3) by Erika Johansen – I still need to read the first two, lol.

Caraval by Stephanie Garber – I’ve heard mixed reviews of this book, but I bought it cause it was such a bargain.

Gothic Tales of Haunted Love by Various Authors – The first ever Kickstarter that I supported. It’s full of Gothic romance tales with diverse/inclusive characters. Can’t wait to read and review!

Saga Vol. 7 & 8 by Brian K. Vaughan – Yeah! Always ready to read more Saga!

The Wicked + The Divine by Kieron Gillen & Jamie McKelvie – I realized I didn’t own the first one and I bought it. This is one of my newer favorite series.

Gifted

Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly – Got this as a gift from friend for my birthday. I am excited to read this since I enjoyed the movie so much!

  1. So many amazing books! I have bought a disgraceful amount of books since January, so let’s draw a veil over my shame. I’ll be very interested to hear your thoughts on Caraval — like you, I’ve heard mixed things about it.
