What I’m Listening To…Holiday Edition 2017

Hello all! It’s the “most wonderful time of the year” again for cheery songs about lively snowmen, reminiscing on holiday memories, cozying up near the fireplace, or just “walking in a winter wonderland”This month’s edition of “What I’m Listening To” will supply you with some tunes for holidays!

Like last year I’ll be sharing another fun some Christmas songs that I enjoy. A few are long time favorites and others are quite new to me. It’s always hard to narrow down this playlist since I have so many favorite Christmas songs, but I did my best! Enjoy the playlist!

1) Christmas Wish by Stacie Orrico

One of my favorite Christmas ballad songs is Christmas Wish by Stacie Orrico. It has a good message, plus Orrico’s vocals on this track are great! I really miss her music!

2) White Winter by Lena Park & Kim Bum Soo

This is a fun and mellow R&B style track from two of some the most talented singers in the Korean music industry. It’s got all of the feelings of walking in a winter wonderland and it’s sure to put you in a holiday mood.

3) Home Alone Main Theme by John Williams

Home Alone always comes in my top 10 Christmas films. During this time of year I always find myself listening to this soundtrack. This is one of my favorite scores from John Williams! He’s a musical genius!

4) Merry Christmas Darling by The Carpenters

When I look for soothing and calm Christmas songs I can always turn to The Carpenters Christmas album. Karen Carpenter’s mellow tones and rich vocals shine in this entire album, but this is by far my favorite track.

5) The Christmas Song by Gregory Porter

If you love Jazz/R&B don’t sleep on Gregory Porter’s music! I have enjoyed all his other songs and I’m excited that he is releasing his first Christmas album. His vocals soar on this song! I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of the album.
