Today’s Video: Bookstores and Libraries – The Most Wonderful Places on Earth

This week’s viral picks is a fun fusion of literature and the cinema. This four-minute video shows viewers why bookstores and libraries are truly the most wonderful places on earth by compiling clips from movies that celebrate literature, feature bookish places, and  bookish people.

I love this mashup! Some of the movies shown such as Matilda and Funny Face are some of my favorite movies of all time. This was such a fun video to watch.

  1. I love bookstores and libraries. I discover a lot of new books online but I have more spontaneous discoveries when I’m in a bookstore.

      1. Yea. And I like being able to touch things. Actually I like to touch things too much. Those “Do not touch.” signs in art museums are not helpful. They’re like temptations.
