Bookshelf Tour: College Edition

So as many of my readers know, I’m currently in my senior year of college and I thought it would be cool to show off my book collection in my dorm (excluding all my textbooks)!!!

I know it’s a small collection, but I don’t have a lot of free time to read fun since my classes are reading intensive. Honestly, I wanted to bring even more books to school, but I don’t have the room.

Here’s what’s what:

  • The Moon and More – Sarah Dessen (borrowed from library)
  • Divergent – Veronica Roth
  • Wither – Lauren DeStanfano
  • Gameboard of the Gods – Richelle Mead
  • Betrayals – Lili St.Crow
  • City of Glass – Canssandra Clarke (My roommate lent me this.)
  • The Poison Eaters – Holly Black
  • House Rules – Chloe Neill
  • My Daring is a Foreigner – Sasori Oguri/Tony Laszlo (Written in Japanese w/ English translations. It’s the bilingual version.)
  • English-Japanese Dictionary (I miss my Japanese classes! I just completed my minor last semester.)
  • A Great and Terrible Beauty – Libba Bray (My roommate lent this to me too. I read it a long time ago, but I wanted to re-read it so I could finish the trilogy.)
  • Say it Right in Korean (Currently trying to teach myself Korean. Right now I can only say short basic phrases.)
  • Bronze Gods – A.A. Aguirre
  • Ghost Walk – Heather Graham

Slowly working my way through this reading/TBR pile, as wells some reads on my kindle too.

What are you guys reading currently?

  1. This is a great idea. I wish I’d thought to do it while I was still in Uni. (Though I was really bad at controlling myself and had three bookshelves full + stacks on the floor to fly home after graduation.)

I love The Poison Eaters! Have you read it yet? Have a favorite story in it? And I should re-read A Great And Terrible Beauty someday soon. That series blew me away when it first came out.

    1. I haven’t read the Poison Eaters yet, I went out and bought it right away after you told me! Thanks so much! Hopefully, I’ll get to re-read A Great and Terrible Beauty soon.
You had so many books at Uni it seems. Honestly, my first couple of years of college I had twice as much as I do now!

  2. Out of those I’ve only read The City of Glass, which I really liked and Divergent, which I’m still trying to find the right words for my review. Gameboard of the Gods sounds really interesting though. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

    1. You’re welcome. Looking forward to your Divergent review! I just finished the book a couple of days ago. And Gameboard of the Gods, I started it over the summer, but I only read a chapter, so I have to re-start it all over. Richelle Mead is a fantastic author and one of my favorites too. 🙂

  3. Wither is one of my favourite books! Soooo good 🙂
In Australia we don’t have colleges, just universities and TAFE. We call some schools colleges for no reason though.
Hope you enjoy them! I have yet to read A Great and Terrible Beauty but it must be good. Us book bloggers have that sense sometimes 🙂
Currently reading The Coldest Girl in Coldtown (maybe it’s Cold Town) by Holly Black.

    1. Yeah Wither looks awesome, can’t wait to read it. I actually do go to a university, but a lot of people in America use college/university interchangeably even though they are separate. What is TAFE? (I’m curious).
Hope you get to read Libba Bray’s book soon, she’s a great author! How are you liking “Coldtown” so far?
