Today’s Topic: Chocolate Book Tag

Dark Chocolate — A book that covers a dark topic (abuse, domestic violence, rape, loneliness, bullying, death, etc)

kite-runner

I just finished reading this book for class and I loved it. The characters, story line, and the strong theme of family and friendship made it a well written book. There were some dark/sad moments that were heartbreaking, but I think it ends on an overall positive note.

White Chocolate — Your favorite light-hearted/humorous read

This is definitely a wacky and fun series. Every book gives readers a new adventure as we follow Becky’s humorous antics and of course her latest consequences of her addiction to shopping.

Milk Chocolate — A book that has a lot of hype that you’re dying to read.

The Fault in Our Stars

I just mentioned this book recently (yesterday) as being a part of my very long TBR list. The story line looks great and I’ve heard amazing things about from fellow book bloggers and reviewers.

Chocolate with a caramel center — Name a book that made you feel all gooey in the middle while you were reading it..

Wafer-free Kit-Kat — Name a book that surprised you lately.

city-of-glass

City of Glass was fantastic! I love all the twists, turns, and reveals in the plotline. Lots of character development, exposure to a new setting (in the Mortal Instruments world), and tons of action/cool fight scenes.

Snickers — A book that you are going nuts about.

Bloodlines-BIG

I finished this book around last week and I loved it. I meant to start reading the Bloodlines series (which is a sequel to Vampire Academy) a long time ago. I ‘m really pleased with the new direction of the story that still involves characters from before.

Hot Chocolate with cream and marshmallows — What book would you turn to for a comfort read?

I actually don’t have a go-to book for a comfort read. I like so many series/standalone, but I guess I haven’t found “the one” yet.

Box of chocolates — What series have you read that you feel has a wide variety and a little something for everyone.

uglies

I think a lot of readers can enjoy this series even if it is sci-fi based, It’s got solid characters, an intriguing story line, and hover boards (who doesn’t like futuristic technology?!).
