Favorite shows?

I have way too many to many to list, but here are a select few:

I love the time travel and exploration aspects of Doctor Who, Fullmetal Alchemist has amazing characters with a complex story line (and it’s full of action), and Supernatural is a great mixture of horror and comedy.

Favorite genre?

As you can see with my favorite TV shows about, I really enjoy shows with a fantasy/sci-fi aspect. But in all honesty, it’s a tie between Fantasy and Comedy.

Least favorite show?

Seinfeld. I’ve given it numerous chances, but the dry humor just doesn’t work out for me. I’ve only enjoyed three episodes really.

Most re-watched show/favorite show to binge watch?

Hmmm….usually any show from the 90s, lol. Especially 90s sitcoms. I always enjoy re-watching The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Do you prefer watching things week-by-week or binge-watching?

I used to watch shows week-by-week, but now I just don’t have the time with my busy schedule now. I find I prefer to watch stuff by binge-watching a show in chunks of time.

Favorite television characters?

Too many reasons to list why I love these characters so I’m just sharing the pictures. But I will say they are in my top faves because they are confident, intelligent, and well-rounded. I have way more characters to list, but that would take to long. 🙂

Favorite television ships?

That’s a good one! I have a ton, but these three couples came to my min first. I loved the relationship between Rose and The Doctor on Doctor Who they showed such tender moments and I bawled at their ending. Rose is by far my favorite companion of all time. Sinclair and Overton were always so cute together on Living Single and I love that he treats her like a queen. And Pam & Jim from The Office started out as friends, but ended up together. Their witty banter and sweet moments were so endearing.

Show you could never get into?

Don’t hate me, but I tried to watch the Bachelorette one season and I just can’t get the appeal of it. Out of all of the TV shows (and reality shows) I have watched it’s my least favorite.

Show you fell out of love with?

Sleepy Hollow was such a solid show when it started out. It had  a an amazing cast and so many great opportunities to explore different concepts with its story line, but it fell into a rut with the writing. They killed off favorite characters and underutilized them too by the time the third season rolled around.

Cancelled too soon?

ABC did not give this show a chance! I was hoping another network would pick it up, but no such luck. The concept of the show was that H.G. Wells invented a time machine and travels to 2017 to capture John Stevenson who is secretly a notorious serial killer who tries to escape from his crimes. It was action-packed and I loved the time travel aspect.

Guilty pleasure show?

Any court TV show, lol. I’ve watched almost every one, but one of my favorite is Judge Judy. She has no tolerance for any bs in her court room.

What are you currently watching?

Not too much at the moment, I’m finishing up Yuri on Ice now and I’m also working my way through Season 3 of Miss FIsher’s Murder Mysteries. I just started season 3 of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend too!

  1. Lol Judge Judy. She’s been on TV my entire life!
Now I’m feeling for some Fullmetal Alchemist again. Gosh I love that show. And I can rewatch Fresh Prince over and over again. Never gets stale.

  2. I remain so crushed that Sleepy Hollow didn’t live up to its early promise. I loved the chemistry between the two leads, and it made me so angry that the show treated Abby so badly. DID THEY NOT RECOGNIZE WHAT THEY HAD.

Do you love the third season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend? I thought the show was just fricking fantastic this year, way better than it’s been in past seasons.

    1. Same girl! They treated Abby so poorly, it’s no wonder the actress left the show. She’s really good too, so I hope I see her on other shows. I think we all shipped Abby and Ichabod so hard, lol. Still working my way through Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I’m not halfway through yet, so far I love it. It’s hitting some deep issues and the musical numbers are getting better with each season.
