  • Tag a few people to do this too!

AUTO-APPROVED: WHO’S ONE AUTHOR WHOSE BOOKS YOU AUTOMATICALLY WANT TO READ, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT?

I have so many! One author that I can think up of right away is Alyssa Cole, her stories are so entertaining.

REQUEST: WHAT MAKES YOU WANT TO REQUEST A BOOK ON NETGALLEY?

A variety of things! Usually the cover or a favorite author is first to catch my eye. I try to request stuff that I like or books that are different so I can expose myself to new genres.

FEEDBACK RATIO: DO YOU REVIEW EVERY BOOK YOU READ? IF NOT, HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHAT BOOKS TO REVIEW?

I review 95% of what the ARCs I am approved for. I hardly DNF any book, but when I struggle with it or the book is not working out for me, I will still write-up a short review stating why I didn’t finish/won’t review the book.

BADGES: IF YOU COULD CREATE ONE BADGE TO DISPLAY ON YOUR BLOG, WHAT WOULD IT BE FOR?

World Reader! I’d love to see a badge where it celebrates reading literature in translation or reading stories about different cultures on a global scale. I am always trying to do my best to expand my reading horizons!

WISH FOR IT: WHAT’S ONE BOOK THAT YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY DYING TO READ?

I was wishing for A Blade So Black by L.L. McKinney, but I didn’t get the request. 🙁 I was intrigued since it’s a diverse, action-packed Alice in Wonderland tale. Plus that cover art is epic!

2018 NETGALLEY CHALLENGE: WHAT WAS THE LAST BOOK THAT YOU RECEIVED AS AN ARC THAT YOU REVIEWED? IF YOU’VE NEVER RECEIVED AN ARC, WHAT’S THE LAST BOOK YOU REVIEWED?

The last book I read and reviewed from Netgalley was A River of Stars by Vanessa Hua. It was such a good piece of literary fiction that focused on immigration, motherhood, and culture. Definitely a recommended read!

  1. Auto Approve Authors = Neil Gaiman & V.E. Schwab

Feedback Ratio = At the moment, I only review ARCs until I get all caught up. Once I clear out my NetGalley back log, I hope to do a full review for all ARCs and batches of mini-reviews for everything else.

Wish for It = So many books! Muse of Nightmares, The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy, West, Vengeful…. All the books!

    1. Same here, I need to work on clearing out my back log on Netgalley before 2019 rolls around. I also have too many books I’m wishing for, lol.
