Nothing that I can think of. I have grown to appreciate classics I read in school, but for me its usually I love or dislike a book.

Izzy, the main character, in Romancing the Duke believes in fairy tales and happily ever afters, but she one of strongest heroines I’ve read in regency romances. She always fights for what she believes in.

In Escaping Exodus by Nicky Drayden one of the main characters is Seske is line for the matriarch, but she has the qualities of a natural born leader which come into play later on in the story.

My Totem Comes Calling is a short novel but has many meaningful lessons that readers can take away from the story, and a cast of rich characters.

Laura Jean and Peter from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before for the win!

Her Festive Flirtation by Therese Beharrie. It was a entertaining romance romance novel that takes place at a Christmas wedding.

I love the rag tag group of friendship that is formed in Shadow of the Fox. I think it would be fun to join them on their journey.

Womentality explores the lives of female freelancers around the globe and it made me want to look into more areas of freelancing.

Becoming Beatriz by Tami Charles is such a solid sophomore novel, but I haven’t seen too many people write about it! I love the story, characters, and how dance is infused into the plot.

Zelda and her friends in One Night in Georgia endure one of the most difficult, and terrifying road trips of their lives. They endures so many obstacles, but manage to still make it to their destination.

Grace in the Wings by Kari Bovee is an historical fiction novel that follows the behind the scenes look of showbiz all while a murder mystery is occurring. It’s every suspenseful!

I can’t really think of any characters that are very vain.

My Sister, The Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite is equal parts suspense and satire. Everything happens very fast and plot twists are small, but hard hitting.

Sweet Talkin’ Lover by Tracey Livesay! It was such a fun romance novel with a feel-good story and interesting characters.

Sleeping With the Fishes by Mary Janice Davidson is a fun read set in a ocean side town. The main character is a mermaid who works as a marine biologist. It’s zany and fun!

I can’t think of any specific titles, but I know there are some books by Kanae Minato that have not been translated yet that I would like to read. Fingers crossed that more of her books are translated soon!

Remembrance by Rita Woods. It’s a historical fiction novel that discuss the Underground Railroad.

Fifty Shades of Grey. It’s just not my type of book, no offense.
