“TALE AS OLD AS TIME” – A POPULAR THEME, TROPE OR SETTING YOU WILL NEVER GET BORED OF READING.

I love books with a “happily ever after” ending! I’m just a romantic! Sometimes I just need fluffy, happy books such as these when I need a pick me up. They may be unrealistic at times, but they do put a smile on my face.

“BELLE” – A BOOK YOU BOUGHT FOR IT’S BEAUTIFUL COVER THAT’S JUST AS BEAUTIFUL INSIDE TOO.

The Path To Dawn by Miri Castor. I’ll admit I was intrigued initially by the cover when I first saw a review Bina at WOC Reads. But her review prompted me to read this book, and I’m so glad I did. Not only is the cover art gorgeous, but the story itself is a beautiful self-discovery story.

BEAST – A BOOK YOU DIDN’T EXPECT MUCH FROM BUT PLEASANTLY SURPRISED YOU.

Dear Killer by Katherine Ewell. I have a tendency to read some YA thrillers that tend to fall flat plot-wise, but I was taken aback by this book. It reads a lot more maturely than other YA books in the same genre and they way the characters developed and the way the plot unraveled had me engrossed in the book.

“GASTON” – A BOOK EVERYONE LOVES THAT YOU DON’T.

There are tons of these, but I’ll just go with a classic on this one. I had to read As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner back in high school and I didn’t like it at all. It’s revered as a timeless classic and I understand its importance, but the story did not grab me at all.

LEFOU – A LOYAL SIDEKICK YOU CAN’T HELP BUT LOVE MORE THAN THEIR COUNTER PART.

I have a lot of favorites, but I’m blanking out on names at the moment. Sorry!

MRS POTTS, CHIP, LUMIER & COGSWORTH – A BOOK THAT HELPED YOU THROUGH A DIFFICULT TIME OR THAT TAUGHT YOU SOMETHING VALUABLE.

What’s Your Story: True Experiences from Complete Strangers is a book similar to Post Secret or HONY (Humans of New Your), where people share personal stories, snippet, and life advice. Though I know everyone goes through their own hardships, this book put some things in perspective when I had a bad day. I gained some new insight and general life advice.

“SOMETHING THERE” – A BOOK OR A SERIES THAT YOU WEREN’T INTO AT FIRST BUT PICKED UP TOWARDS THE END.

A Shadow Bright and Burning by Jessica Clueless. I’ll admit that it took me a while to get into the rhythm of the plot, before it became a page-turner read. I felt like it didn’t have that “spark” until the latter half.

“BE OUR GUEST” – A FICTIONAL CHARACTER YOU’D LOVE TO HAVE OVER FOR DINNER.

Aw come on! That’s a super difficult answer because I have tons of literary characters I could choose. At the top of my head, I’m gonna pick Hermione from Harry Potter. I think we would have a lot in common, plus we could chat about books all night long.
