9th Blogiversary Celebration & Giveaway! (CLOSED)

Hello everyone! As we are in the midst of 2022, I was notified by WordPress of my Blogiversary! Life of a Female Bibliophile is now 9 years old!

I’m in such awe that I’ve been blogging for 9 years now. Even when I look back to my very first blog post, I still can’t believe it. Every year that this blog turns older and has evolved I feel so proud of myself for continuing to write even at a time when I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue blogging or how the blog would go on. I am extremely grateful to see how far I’ve come and so thankful for those that encourage me to start blogging years ago.

As I juggle my full-time job with freelance work it has been difficult at times to run a blog, but I try my best to bring new bookish content, chat about current topics, and share what I’m reading with all of you. It’s so much fun to discover new and old books to review on the blog and continue connecting with authors, bloggers, and other readers. I’m also very grateful for all of the friends I’ve made through blogging.

Most of all the biggest thank you goes to my wonderful readers! I have met (and still continue to meet) so many amazing people in the blogging/book community. I deeply thank each and every one of you for your readership and support. Whether it’s liking a post, commenting, taking the time to view what I’ve written, or interacting with me on the blog’s social media, I appreciate all of it!

As a thank you for your continued support of the blog and to celebrate this momentous occasion, I’m hosting a giveaway to celebrate my blogiversary!

  1. Two of my most anticipated books of 2022 (that aren’t out yet) are… Always Practice Safe Hex by Juliette Cross and The Company of Fiends by Kathryn Moon.

  2. Happy blogiversary and wishing you many more amazing to come!!

Excited for Kaikeyi by Vaishnavi Patel, Foul Lady Fortune by Chloe Gong, The Darkening by Sunya Mara, The Blood Traitor by Lynette Noni – just to name a few.

  3. Happy happy blogiversary, and many happy returns of the day!! Easily my most anticipated 2022 book is Nona the Ninth, the latest in the Locked Tomb series. Part of me doesn’t truly believe we’ll get it this year but I WANT IT SO MUCH. 😛

  4. HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY Rachel!! And thank you for the giveaway, one of my most anticipated reads has to be Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid 🙂

    1. Thank you Megan! I keep saying I’ve got to try reading Taylor’s books one day since I’ve heard such good reviews about her books.

  5. Happy Blogiversary! I have so many books on my wishlist, it’s got quite terrifying (in fact, now I think about it, I started a separate one on Amazon when Christmas/Birthday season was upon me and things were getting confusing, and haven’t transferred those over yet – eeps!). Here’s to many more years of blogging and interactions!
