What was your first manga?

Actually I would have to say the first ones I remember buying were TokyoPop and Shojo Beat titles. But sadly a lot of those I gave away (stupidly) and now it cost triple the amount to buy them again because they aren’t printed anymore.
What was your most expensive manga?

I don’t think I ever paid more than the standard price for a manga (which is $10-13). Or I usually snag a deal from overstock book stores or websites like Mercari.
What was your least expensive manga?

I found the entire series (4 books total) at a library book sale for $6. What a steal! I still have yet to read this series, but it seems like a cute shojo romance.
What is the most boring manga you own?

I actually no longer own this title because I realized after reading it, that I didn’t want to own it anymore. It’s very mundane and formulaic that it comes off a bit boring (in my own opinion). The story is about Eimi Yamashita who moves into a dormitory for girls and experiences new adventures.
What is your favorite manga (series)?

My top favorite anime manga/anime series of all time is Fullmetal Alchemist. It’s an incredible tale of two brothers on an epic quest and it’s got such complex storylines and characters. The writing for this story is so good and readers are hooked within the first episode, we not only get to see all of the adventures and battles that the brothers go on but also how they grow in their skills and character.
What is the most relatable manga that you own?

Skull-Faced Bookseller Honda San is relatable the most to me is because of the years that I worked in retail and at a library. I like that it’s heartwarming, humorous, and showcases the heart of a bibliophile. Highly recommend the anime and manga!
What is one manga that you own that is based off of an anime? (Not the other way around)

None of them. All of my series that I own the manga adaptation came first.
8. What is your rarest manga?

Crimson Hero which follows Nobara Sumiyoshi, a 15-year-old tomboy with a passion for volleyball. The series is now available in digital format, but has not been printed since its original run in the 2000s. I found a set of the entire series at convention and even though it was a splurge, it was worth the cost.
One of your reprinted manga. (Printed in the past but printed again by another company).

I don’t own any reprinted manga in my collection at the moment.
The most popular manga series you own.

A shojo classic with a huge fan base! I remember collecting these as the volumes released in the 2000s. It is an emotional roller coaster ride full of memorable characters, a unique concept, and story that will stay with you long after reading it.
What is the most damaged manga you own?

None! I keep my manga in pretty pristine condition, except for the ones that were exposed to sunlight. No rips, tears, or water damage at all. My manga collection is my baby!
Which manga has the most amazing art?

Anything by Arina Tanemura. Her artwork is a mashup of whimsical, magical, and element. I love attention to details in her characters that give them a fantasy like feeling. I need to get my hands on one of her artbooks for my collection.
Oldest published manga that you own?

Kodocha, would probably be my oldest series. It was originally published August 1994 – November 1998. I highly recommend this series. It follows Sana Kurata, a young, energetic child actress, and Akito Hayama, a troubled classmate who disrupts her fifth-grade class. . The story explores themes of family, friendship, and the challenges of growing up.
Newest published manga that you own?

Because I haven’t purchased hardly any manga this year at all. I’m trying to focus on reading more of what I own first.
A recent manga that you purchased.

Oh this hard, because I cut back a lot on buying manga this year. I did pick up this manga at a local comic shop, because the cover and nostalgia aspect caught my eye.
