Today’s Booktube Bite: Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde
Happy Halloween everyone! 😀
For this week’s bookish video I chose one of my favorite childhood songs that has somewhat of a Halloween theme. I picked this video because it’s based off a famous horror/thriller novel (hence it being bookish) and it’s something I really enjoy! The video comes from the popular cartoon, Arthur. Its a show about Arthur the aardvark who loves to read and goes on daily adventures with his friends.
In the video, Brain, sings about reading the novel “Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde”. He becomes obsessed with the story and eventually becomes consumed by it. Then he transforms into his own version of Mr.Hyde. The song creeped me out a bit when I was younger, but it doesn’t bother me now! Enjoy!
