Hello fellow readers! Since the holidays are upon us, I thought I’d compile a list of bookish/literary ideas for Christmas gifts. If you’re stuck on gift ideas for friends or family, hopefully this list will help you out. All of the items have links to purchase them from their prospective shops. I love the array of colors included in the set and the quirky saying on each pencil. IceyDesign’s shop is amazing and I love the products she creates. She also sells pencils inspired by Harry Potter, Bronte, and Jane Austen as well as bookish notebooks.

2. First Lines of Literature Mug

For the book lover that enjoys a warm & cozy drink, how about a literary mug? This mug from BasBleu is sold for $13.95 and features some famous first lines of literature from books such as A Christmas Carol, The Great Gatsby, and Lolita.

3. Bookish T-Shirt

This stylish bookish t-shirt was created by Evie Seo (who also sells other amazing bookish wall art, tote bags, and more) can be found on Society6 for $22.00. The shirt says “Books are a Uniquely Portable Magic” and is written in a cursive like gold print.

4. Retro Typewriter Tablet Case

Know someone in use of a new case to cover up their precious tablet or e-reader? This retro typewriter case goes for $22.61 and can be purchased from the Literary Gift Company. I love the vintage look of this tablet case and I would definitely want to get one for myself.

 This coloring book can be found at most book stores, but is sold on Amazon for $9.38. Since coloring books for adults are such a big thing this year there are a lot of bookish and regular coloring books out there for inexpensive prices.

6. Book Lover’s Tea

This Book lover’s Tea by Christine Rillo can be found on Adagio Teas and sells at the price of $1o for a 3oz pouch and $19 for a 5oz tin. This is a perfect gift for any tea drinker .This tea consists of Ceylon black, honey bush hazelnut, and cinnamon black tea. Sounds like a delicious drink!

7. Bookish Tote

8. Literature & Poetry Necktie

This literature necktie is sure to stand out with any outfit. It can make a great gifts for teachers or writers. It’s sold for $45 on Etsy and created by Cyberoptix. The shop also sells a lot of other cool neckties with various designs, so if you’re looking for similar gifts this shop might be up your alley.

9. Book Lover’s Calendar 2016

What a better way to count down the days of the year than with a Book Lover’s Calendar? It’s sold for $10.07 on Amazon.

10. Book Pile Ornament

This is a good stocking stuffer or inexpensive gift idea! I love this book pile ornament and it’s a great addition to anyone’s Christmas tree. It’s sells for $7.99 at Bronner’s (one of my favorite Christmas stores). If you’re feeling crafty you can also make a DIY ornament as well!
